Specializing in comfort food, with a traditional Polish and American menu, you can indulge in favorites such as salisbury steak, chicken paprikash, stuffed cabbage, and of course, their classic mouth-watering pierogi. Considered a Cleveland favorite, Sokolowski’s walls are filled with hundreds of photos that pay tribute to the city and its many remarkable visitors, including Michael Symon, Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Bacon, David Byrne, and Bill Clinton.

Third generation owners & siblings, Mike, Mary and Bernie Sokolowski successfully run this notable restaurant first established by their grandparents in 1923. As Cleveland’s oldest owned and family operated restaurant, loyal customers line up time and time again to eat their favorite homemade dishes. Sokolowski’s has appeared on many high-profile shows and networks including Michael Symon’s “The Best Thing I Ever Ate” on the Food Network, Anthony Bourdain’s “No Reservations” on the Travel Channel, and numerous other local television & news shows.

Sokolowski’s serves lunch Monday through Friday, and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, with live piano music performed Wednesday through Saturday. Whether you reside in Cleveland or are just visiting, you’ll want to make sure you visit this distinguished landmark.
